Shopping basket now available in InsuranceRight 3.4
Our latest version of InsuranceRight is extended with a shopping basket. While most insurers give their (potential) customers the opportunity to buy one insurance policy at a time, with InsuranceRight 3.4 it is possible to combine the purchase of several insurances in one shopping basket in just a few clicks. This is especially interesting in case of life events that often require new insurances or changed policies, such as moving to a new house.
Insurance companies using InsuranceRight 3.4 can use both the shopping basket and the ‘standard’ product oriented way of working. On a specific landing page, it is possible to show just a segment of your portfolio, while on the homepage it is great to have the opportunity to combine the purchase of several insurances. The shopping basket also offers better possibilities for cross- and upsell.
With the help of Virtual Affairs, we have put 19 insurance product funnels live. This is very productive for us. Virtual Affairs always focuses on customers’ needs, creates service offerings across product lines, and allows us to be more visible in the marketplace through promotions and campaigning.
Our experience with Virtual Affairs was a very special one. We were able to create a genuine, productive collaboration and received excellent support from their staff. We are very satisfied.
In 2014, we implemented our new Slovak brand Onlia in only 9 months. Now, we are looking forward to its upcoming upgrade to version 3.1 which promises to be even more integrated with Sitecore features.
With the InsuranceRight accelerator any marketer can use the capabilities of Sitecore every day to optimise their insurance funnels.
Reaching out to generation Y via messenger apps
Generation Y is moving away from (your) company website and company apps. They are mobile oriented and spend more and more time in messenger apps. How can you – as an insurer – get in contact with this generation? The solution seems simple: to connect by offering them the possibility to communicate and deliver services via for example Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger.
At Virtual Affairs, we are expirimenting with chatbots to offer insurances via Facebook. A hybrid solution was developed to start a conversation on Facebook and to end the registration process in your own secure environment. Interested to know more about this chatbot?
